This week I’ve been organising going back to Mexico.

Not moving.

Just setting my base up properly this time.

Equipment.
Setup.
Work environment.

Getting everything ready so I can land and operate straight away.

What stood out wasn’t the logistics.

It was the deadline.

When there’s a fixed date, everything sharpens.

You stop overthinking.
You make decisions faster.
You focus on what actually matters.

Everything else just drops away.

Stuff that felt important a week ago suddenly isn’t.

You cut things.
You move quicker.
You get things done.

It made me realise something.

Most people don’t have a deadline.

That’s why they drift.

Deadlines aren’t just practical.

They change your psychology.

When something has a real end point, you behave differently.

More urgency.
More clarity.
Less noise.

The Business Game is the same.

Without a timeline, nothing really moves.

Ideas sit there.
Plans drag on.
Time passes.

But when you force a constraint…

A date you can’t ignore…

You start playing properly.

You prioritise.
You execute.
You let go of what doesn’t matter.

Deadlines don’t just move the business forward.

They expose what actually matters.

Because time is moving either way.

You can choose your deadlines.

Or drift until one is chosen for you.
